Sara & Barry: Riverside Adventure

Barry and Sara originally planned to do some canoeing on the Susquehanna River, which I thought was pretty awesome. However, it rained quite a bit in the weeks prior to our planned session, resulting in higher water levels and a fast current. So we ditched the idea and just took some photos at a few boating spots along the Susquehanna River. I always enjoy places I've never been before. The locations were the Mahantango Boat Access and McKee's Half Falls Rest Area.

Nature's Backseat

Even though the river current was too strong for the canoe, the high water levels created a dramatic and powerful backdrop at McKee's Half Falls. We explored the shoreline and found some incredible light filtering through the trees, giving the whole session a peaceful, earthy vibe.

A Perfect Alternative

The Mahantango Boat Access provided a more secluded feel. I love when couples are open to exploring new locations. It allows the session to become an adventure rather than just a photoshoot, resulting in more genuine expressions and unique memories.

"When plans change, the best moments usually happen. Sara and Barry's session was a testament to going with the flow and embracing the natural beauty of the river."
